Mai Chau is a rural district of Hoa Binh province in the northwestern region of Vietnam. The district is located at about 160 km from Ha Noi. The scenery of Mai Chau attracts many tourists every year.
The trip will go through the green rice paddies, spectacular scenery of limestone mountain range in the North West of Vietnam. Then enjoy lunch with local people at the traditional house on stilt of Thai.
Visit Pomcoong village and Lac village to discover the Thai ethnic minorities. An interesting walking tour around the village will give you an unforgettable memory on the trip.

Full Itinerary

07.00 - 07.45 am: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Mai Chau (140 km) via Hoa Binh city. The road will slowly weave itself through mountains, fertile valleys, and traditional villages. Arrive in picturesque Mai Chau valley which is surrounded by spectacular karats rock formations and picturesque rice paddies.

12.00: Enjoy your local style lunch in a Thai traditional stilt house.

13.00: Trek to visit Lac and Pom Coong villages to explore the daily life of Thai minority and maintain their ancient traditions and customs.

15.30/16.00: Return to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel around 19.00 pm.
