Mai Chau Biking Tour – 2 Days/1 Night

Itinerary

Day 01: Hanoi Mai Chau (L, D)

In the morning at around 8.00 am, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel for a scenic transfer to Mai Chau in Hoa Binh city. You will be taken through the endless green of lush jungles, rice paddies on smooth and winding roads dotted with rustic stilt-houses.

Around noon, you will arrive in Mai Chau valley surrounded by rolling karst mountains and green rice fields.

Take some time to visit Pom Coong Village and surroundings before enjoying lunch at a local stilt house.

In the afternoon, set off your trekking tour around Lac and Van village - where Muong and Thai people inhabit to get a glimpse of the local life. Afterward, head back to the local house for relaxing. After dinner, you can take part in a traditional music show performed by local artists. Overnight at the local stilt house.

Day 02: Mai Chau Hanoi (B, L)

In this early morning, try to wake up to soak into the fresh and tranquility of the region as the sun starts to rise on rolling mountains. You will see a magical scene in front of your eyes when fog and cloud flow on mountains which look like white ribbons hugging gentle beautiful mountains.

After breakfast at the local house, set off your biking tour around the valley. You will pass through many villages, across green rice paddies and venture into the countryside where you will have lots of opportunities to explore the lifestyle of hill tribe people. There is also an option for you to climb up a 1000-step cave and visit a local market.

After a fabulous lunch at a local house, it’s time to say goodbye to Mai Chau and its people to return to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 17.00 pm.
