Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (D)

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel in Hanoi for check-in and relax.

If time permits, we visit the Old Quarter then enjoy the Water Puppet Unique show. Relax and stay overnight at the hotel after dinner

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong (B, L)

8.00 am: Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Halong Bay, stop on route to admire the landscape picture; you might take picture of buffalo boy.

Arrive in Halong at noontime, boat screw will greetings you special seafood lunch, boat cruise 4 hours around the bay to pass beautiful islets of Stone Dog, Incense Burner, “Fighting cock”.

Stop at a village of the fish-men community to relax and learn about their life. Visit Thien Cung “Heavenly Palace” cave, the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Turn back to the harbor in the afternoon for private vehicle transfer back to Hanoi for overnight.

Optional activities in the evening in Hanoi:

Enjoy drinks at nearby café/ bar/ pub

Wandering around Hanoi downtown area (Weekend walking streets from Friday night until Sunday around Hoan Kiem Lake and Old Quarter area)

Take an evening motorbike/scooter/walking tour

Day 3: Hanoi city – Hue (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, start a city tour with Ho Chi Minh Complex to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and One pillar pagoda. Continue to visit Literature temple, the first University in Vietnam in the 16th century. Have lunch in one of the famous restaurants in Hanoi.

PM: Visit ethnological museum then have cyclo in the old quarter, after that you are transferred to the airport for flight to Hue in the late afternoon, upon arrival in Hue, you will be picked up to the hotel for relaxing.

Day 4: Hue City Tour (B, L)

AM: Visit Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect Vauban during the first decades of the 19th century. Before leaving the site of Imperial city, we visit the Imperial Museum, many precious objects which were salvaged from the Imperial city then we visit Khai Dinh Tomb.

PM: A boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, Dong Ba market.

Day 5: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B, L)

Drive to Hoian via Danang and visit Cham Museum & Marble Mountain en route. Afternoon, we visit Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years.

Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market.

Day 6: Hoi An – Danang – HCM City (B, L)

You are transferred to the airport for flight to HCM City in the morning, upon arrival in HCMC; you are picked up to visit some attractive places such as the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975.

Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum before continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where everything and anything is for sale!

You are transferred back to the hotel after the tour today and have dinner yourselves.

Optional activities in the evening in Ho Chi Minh City:

– Enjoy soft drinks at nearby café/ pub/ bar

– Wandering around night walking street area (Bui Vien, De Tham streets)

– Take an evening motorbike or scooter tour

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)

Free at leisure to explore the city or doing other things you are interested in until time transfer to airport for flight back home.
