Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (D)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, Our tour guide and driver are ready to welcome you at the airport exit gate.

On the way from the airport to the hotel, our tour guide will briefly introduce your tour program, general and necessary information for the time you are in Vietnam, double-check with you with things you may need to make clear, reconfirm with you for the next day pick up time

If time permits, we have a cyclo around the old quarter, join the Water Puppet Show in the late afternoon, have welcome dinner.

Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Moc Chau (B, L, D)

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and then we will drive toward Mai Chau.

On the way, we have a short break in Luong Son town

We arrive in the village of Lac – Mai Chau. Have a delicious lunch with local food.

In the afternoon, we visit the beautiful poetic valley of Mai Chau, discover the interesting customs of the “white Thai’ ethnic minority and the ways they make their unique brocades and handicraft items.

Later in the afternoon, we keep going to Moc Chau, the land of the immense fields of tea and infinite variety of wildflowers.

18.00: Arrive in Moc Chau, check in the room, have dinner with specialties of the North-West.

Day 3: Moc Chau – Son La – Dien Bien (B, L, D)

After early breakfast, we visit the Dai Yem waterfall, the Dong Son Moc Huong (Doi cave) that is considered the most beautiful one in the North-West of Vietnam with a very interesting legend. The next beauty spot is the pine forest of Ang village, a dreamlike place with the immense green color of pines and a big beautiful lake. In this area, we enjoy the glamour of the beautiful rolling hills of wildflowers, gardens of plump-trees, peach-trees…

11. 45: Back to Moc Chau for lunch

In the afternoon, we continue our way to Dien Bien with a stopover to visit Son La Prison in Son La

Arrive in Dien Bien late in the afternoon, check-in, have dinner and overnight at hotel in Dien Bien

Day 4: Dien Bien – Lai Chau (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we start the day by visiting Dien Bien Phu Museum and A1 hill then continue to Dien Bien Phu Cemetery to observe a minute’s silence in memory of the heroes who devoted their lives for the victory of the historical Dien Bien Phu Campaign. Visit General De Castries’s Bunker, Old Muong Thanh Bridge, and Nam Rom river.

After lunch, we will drive Lai Chau, dinner and overnight in Lai Chau.

Day 5: Lai Chau – Sapa (B, L)

This morning, we leave Lai Chau for the transfer to Sapa. The drive from Lai Chau to Sapa along route 4D, threading the Fansipan Mountain Range and the China border, is perhaps the most beautiful stretch of road in Vietnam. Climbing the highest pass in Vietnam, the Tram Ton Pass.

Lunch in a local restaurant en route. We will reach Sapa in the afternoon.

Dinner yourselves and overnight in Sapa.

Day 6: Explore Sapa (B, L)

Pick up at your hotel and start the tour to visit Sapa ethnic villages. The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sapa valley. Start by road that descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km) en route, admire the rice terraces hidden behind mist of the morning, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Follow a small track and cross Muong Hoa River and pass well-tended rice terraces on your way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai.  Continuing through the colorful rice terraces you will reach the village of Ta Van Giay. As you continue your trek along the Muong Hoa River you will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2km from the settlement. Here you can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. These engravings depict some beautiful images of man, stilt houses and some beautiful decorative patterns.

We lunch in a home in the village.

After lunch, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Sapa.

Dinner yourselves and overnight in Sapa.

Day 7: Sapa – Mu Cang Chai (B, L, D)

Check out to leave Sapa this morning, we will head to Mu Cang Chai where have beautiful terraced fields that were recognized as heritage of terraced fields.

From Sapa town, our car will take us to cross Tram Ton Pass again where you can enjoy fresh and cool air and nice landscapes. Taking tours to visit villages of Muong Khoa, Muong Kim and Na Kim where you can see very colorful minority groups. Lunch en route. Arrival in Mu Cang Chai at mid-afternoon, we will drive to Kim Noi village, the village of Black Thai people, one family here will be our host today.

Leisure time we may take a strolling around this village to see the normal life of villagers.

Day 8: Mu Cang Chai – Nghia Lo (B, L, D)

After breakfast with a local family, we visit & take photograph Che Cu Nha Rice Terrace Field of Hmong people and Che Xu Phinh, La Phan Tan – it was recognized the national landscape of Vietnam in 2007.

Return to Mu Cang Chai for lunch.

Leave Mu Cang Chai to Nghia Lo, free to discover the wildland of Nghia Lo, then dinner and overnight here.

Day 9: Nghia Lo – Hanoi (B, L)

 Enjoy the fresh air and breakfast in Nghia Lo, check out hotel before leaving Nghia Lo to visit Suoi Giang Eco-Park where is a part of Hoang Lien Son national park, home of ancient green tea field, we walk around to learn about the producing procedure of special green tea of Vietnam and take photograph in the tea garden.

Visiting Hoc village where exists hot steam, the traveler can enjoy and have a bath in natural hot-water of the stream. Have lunch then return to Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi departure

We have breakfast at the hotel then our driver will pick you up for your flight home.
