Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba National Park (L, D)
08:00: Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi to Hai Phong. Upon arrival at Got ferry, aboard speed boat to Cat Ba island.
Having lunch and check-in hotel.
14:00: Visit Cat Ba national park, having short trekking through Kim Giao forest, reach the highest pointed named “Ngu Lam Peak” which offers an overview of the whole island. Then return back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Lan Ha – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
07:30: transfer from your hotel to Beo dock.
8.00: Check-in boat, enjoy welcoming drink. Start cruising through Cái Bèo fishing village – the largest and the most traditional fishing village in the North of Vietnam, passing Monkey Island (We do not stop at Monkey Island). Then the boat reaches the heart of Lan Ha Bay where has thousands of unique shaped karst towels and emerald water.
09:30: Stop at Di San Floating House to visit a fisherman family and their fish farm to see the local’s life, take photos of the huge fish (it’s about 13 years old and around 100 kg), which called “Happy fish“.
Afterward, the boat continues cruising to the magnificent landscapes before parking at Dau Be Island. Then, discovering the bay on your own way with the double-sharing kayak at Ba Ham Lake in Halong Bay, you will explore the beauty of nature in the hidden lagoon with lots of stalactites hang down from the ceiling cave which creates strange shapes and sizes.
This option depends on the tide level of the bay (Just in case, the tide is too high we will do 2 options: Cruising through Cua Van Floating Village, passing Rang Dua Island, Frog Island,…Then do kayaking through Dark Cave, Bright Cave). Lunch with seafood and Vietnamese traditional food will be served while the boat keeps cruising.
After lunch, our captain will choose the best area to anchor. You will have time to relax then take part in interesting activities: jumping off from the boat, swimming or walking on the beach in Ba Trai Dao Beach. Then take a speed boat to return back Hai Phong, our driver will transfer you to Hanoi.
Drop you off at your hotel. Tour ends. Goodbye and see you again!
