Halong Bay – Ninh Binh 4 Days/3 Nights Tour

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi to Halong Bay (L, D)

07.45 – 8:00: Our car will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and start our trip to explore the most amazing bay in the North of Vietnam. On the way, we will have a quick stop in the middle of the way to rest. This also lets you have a glance at Hai Duong Province and taste their traditional “Green bean cake”.

12.30: Arrive in our office at Hon Gai Pier, you will have a bit of time to relax and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. Wait for our captain to finish the registration and transfer by tender to our boat.

12.45: Enjoy a welcome drink and spend a couple of minutes to briefing about safety on boat and activities included then we check in our cabin.

13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay.

15.00: Arrive in kayaking area – That is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and relaxing.

17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoys our Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage.

19.00: Sumptuous set-dinner onboard.

20.30: Free time to challenge yourself in Vietnamese puzzle games, or gathers your group/family for a board game; try your luck with squid fishing or simply has a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.

Day 2: Halong Transfer to Ninh Binh (B, L)

06.00: Start your day with a Tai Chi routine on sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.

07.00: Breakfast will be served in Western style, familiar to you to fulfill your strength and ready for another exploring day.

08.00: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.

09.00: Upon return to the boat you will have about 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing.

10.00: Attend in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. You can quickly learn a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish that Gordon Ramsey (a 2 Michelin Star Chef) used to guide – Nem Cuon or challenge yourself in fruit and vegetables carving.

11:15: Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor around 12.00 pm and get transfer by car to Ninh Binh.

18:00: Arrival and overnight at Tam Coc Roky Bungalow.

Day 3: Hoa Lu – Mua Cave – Tam Coc (B, L)

Have breakfast then get pick up at 9.30 am for the tour.

9.30 – 9.45: Visiting Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam from 986-1010. Where you can learn more about the first feudal government of Vietnam.

10.30: Visiting Mua Cave, where you can get the impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city when you reach the top point of Ngoa Long mountain.

12.00: Enjoy lunch with plenty of traditional foods such as spring rolls, goat meat…etc.

Tam Coc - Ninh Binh

13.00: Discovering Tam Coc on the sampan (bamboo boat). With nearly 2 hours, tourists will have the chance to mix with the local life, river, limestone mountains, fields… Passing through 3 caves: Hang Ca- first cave, Hang Hai - second cave, Hang Ba - the third cave by boat will bring to you excited feeling

15.00: Cycling: With 1 hour of cycling you will be amazed by the beauty of the countryside in the North of Vietnam. Our tour guide will introduce to you the architecture of the traditional house and the life of the local family.

Then you will have free time in your room.

16.00: Sunset party at the swimming pool: After discovering the amazing beauty of Ninh Binh by walking, hiking, cycling, tourists can relax by swimming, drinking local tea, fresh fruits while the Sun is setting (swimming in the allowable condition).

19.00: Dinner with Vietnamese food prepared by bungalow.

Day 4: Bai Dinh – Trang An – Hanoi (B, L )

8.30: Having breakfast: check output your luggage in the car.

9.30 – 9.45: Arriving at Trang An. In 2 hours, you will be surprised by the beauty of this landscape that seems as Halong Bay on land. The bamboo boat will take you through many amazing caves. Besides that, tourists have the chance to visit King Kong Island. Kong: Skull Island is a US blockbuster filmed in 2016 with many scenes in Vietnam landscapes such as Trang An, Van Long natural reserve, Tam Coc, Bich Dong (Ninh Binh), Halong Bay (Quang Ninh) and Phong Nha (Quang Binh). Kong: Skull Island has become the record king of the Vietnam box office as it has beaten all previous records to become the highest grossing movie of all time.

12.15: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with many traditional local foods.

13.30: Relax and drink Vietnamese tea, try some local cakes.

14.00: Visiting Bai Dinh pagoda – The biggest pagoda in South-East Asia.

15.30: Says goodbye Ninh Binh and go back to Hanoi.

17.30 – 18.00: Finish your unforgettable trip to your hotel in Hanoi.
